XDJ-RX Firmware 2.0

Hi,

unfortunately I've made the firmware upgrade from 1.8 to 0 2.0 this weekend. I should have read in this forum before doing that. Sorry guys but that doesn't go like this. I'm using Pioneer products for over 15 years now but this is worse than Hercules.

I absolutely understand that you want to push the recordbox soft, but keep in mind that not all the world wants to change their habits and use a new software.

And even your recordbox doesn't work on the unit !!

So could you please give me a possibility to downgrade the unit, so that I can work with it (I've paid for that) or give me reasonable delay for an new firmware without major bugs.

Kind regards,

Mike

i couldnt agree more Mike, its not aceptable for a big Concern like Pioneer dj.

the Update 2.0 is out since 24.February and no statement to any bug fixes or a new firmware release .. this is very frustrating. and yes Pioneer .. we know its a Standlone Controller but srsly we Paid 1500 Euro or Dollar to have such a beauty  to have a creative workflow and to use it like we want, doesnt matter if midi or standalone..

Hi,

thanks for the update ! A few lights are back but there are still many midi mapping errors with Traktor for instance.

I'm going to try recordbox if everything works fine

Kind regards,

Mike

Hi Mark,

Does this mean there is a potential future update to allow midi on the platters and the XDJ-RX mixer to work as it did?

Well thankyou for the reply- from what I gather in use the mixer literally works as it used to and the functionality is all there its just the individual buttons don't indicate they do, a simple flash on each one is the only thing needed and the firmware is perfect and faultless from what I can see.......

Lets just wait and see, fingers crossed
