"Fix your internet connection environment then try again" error message trying to log into desktop software?

Every time I try and log into the Rekordbox Desktop software it won't let me log in and comes up with the following message...

"Fix your internet connection environment then try again"

What can I do? I checked the FAQ's and found an answer that said I should log into the Kuvo and then click the "connect" link and download the .nxs file but it doesn't have anything about downloading the .nxs file on that page at all.

I'm stumped... where do I go from here?
