Remotebox with XDJ R1 1.10 firmware

can we use remote box with the 1.10 firmware without upgrading to 1.12?

You can use the 1.10 firmware with the XDJ-R1, but you won't be able to use remotebox on iOS 8 or iOS 9 without updating to 1.12.

Do you advice that I go to our Official Pioneer representative in Tunisia to do the firmware upgrade because I saw some videos that this has created some issues.

Another point, what are the specifications of the USB Key for bestperformance (I know it should be formatted FAT 32)?

@Hassen > You can do the firmware update yourself. Just be sure to follow all of the instructions precisely. The only necessary USB spec is the FAT32 formatting.

Let me be honest I don't have the courage to do this :) If it fails it will a problem for me I just baught this 10 days ago. I contact Pioneer and they are happy to help. The Remote box function is really helpful to search tracks and for X,Y effect gird.

Ok I did the test with my Iphone upgraded to ios 10.

The Iphone connected to the R1 as before and I have tested the feartures (Cue, load...) and everything works fine.
