DDJ RB - Initial Impressions

Just got the RB and I'm very impressed with it. You get a lot for what you pay especially free Rekordbox software. The Play/Cue buttons and loop buttons separated are a massive improvement over the SB2, and having 8 pads for hot cues, etc.

Improvements:

I wish you could have included the two headphone jacks like on the SB2, don't see why one was removed?

The Hot Cue, Pad FX, Slicer and Sampler buttons should have been made out of hard plastic rather than rubber - something I hoped would be done after the SB2, simply to make them more sturdy when pressing them.

Also wish the parameter buttons could have been included to control the parameter of the pads, such as adjusting the beat jump of FX parameters. The removal of slip mode isn't an issue for me, since I can remap the sync button to slip in the MIDI settings. Shift/Sync can also be used to add another MIDI function such as Autoloop.

Other than that, a perfect controller.
