I didn't prepare it with rekordbox. But that message pops up even when i just turn the player on, any solutions?

That would be the reason; either prepare the content with rekordbox or remove the USB drive!

the problem is that the usb is not even in the cd player. the message is constantly there, the error one..

are u saying that i should just analyze the tracks via rekordbox and add them to the usb, put it in the cd play and itll fix it?

Yeah i cant even update the firmware cuz the usb slot is not detecting the usb, i sent to service but not pioneer support since there is none in the region i live in. I think that the usb slot has broken somehow.

I don't think it's the slot, but more likely the mainboard. Hopefully the service location you sent it to can fix this one for you!

Eww - if it's only 5 days old, I would take it back to where you bought it as a Dead-on-Arrival unit.

thats kinda hard to do because i bought it used but the guy is in a different country.

the mainboard..is that a serious problem? hardware or software? they will call me from service on monday and ask me if i want the fix ot be done, what the best think for me to do now?

Ah, well then that's a different issue.

The mainboard is a hardware component. If you've already sent it in and they're going to give you an estimate, that would be the best bet. If the seller sold it to you as fully functional and it arrived doing this, I'd say he lied on the sale.

when it arrived everything worked properly, he sold me cdj 900 x2 and djm 700. then after 4 days of use i'd say, after playing music from usb the music suddenly stopped and the usn error appeared..well idk if i should accept the fix or send it back to the guy? although i dont think he'll accept it back.

Yeah, hard to say -- if it was working when it arrived then I can't really say it was faulty when he sold it...

Best to wait and see what the shop says.

yep, btw a few more info. it can play cds, everything works fine, the usb red light doesnt blink when i put the usb in. the cdj 900 has 2 displays, one for tracks and stuff and one for time lapse etc. the one on the bottom is fully funtional, the one on the top, well, constant usb error message but it disappears for a second when i scroll through the tracks. i hope its not a mainboard problem, then id have to order it and it costs alot..

Thanks for the help and time pulse! hope that its not a huge problem..
