You would need another video output source since the decks are playing the video/audio from the same channel. There is an image sender for the master output that would allow an image, text, live camera to be sent out.
Hi all,
Is it possible to load a video to play - e.g a generic club style visual pattern, and have it playing on the external monitor and at the same time having 2 audio tracks loaded/playing at the same time?
If so, how is this achieved?
Thanks,
B3RN

What about having a 4 deck configuration and just dedicating 1 of the decks/channels to the video and mixing the 2 primary channels for the audio?
When video is on it only allows for the 2 decks to be active so it wouldn't allow that. I don't believe any video software can do that..
I believe Serato can... Have 2 audio tracks playing independantly, and a seperate video playing at the same time..
But I dont want to use Serato ha ha...
Load an audio track to the deck, load a video to the same deck number (eg. audio on deck 2, then drag a video to the deck 2 video), then click the LINK button above the video preview, and it will then load that video for the audio file every time that audio file is loaded. It's not exactly the same thing, but a cool work-around.
Oh yeah,
That makes sense. Might take a while to link all the tracks to the sifferent videos however..
The problem I still have at hand is that none of my video files AT All are working :( They previously worked on my old system, but since upgrading my laptop to a more high end system, the mp4 files only play the audio, not the video associated with them... I have tried re-encoding some of the mp4's to different supported formats, but they either do the same by playing only audio, or display a un supported file type error.
I'm not sure what to do in this case. I don't particularily want to uninstall as I have a monster library and dont want to 'start again' as such.
Hi! I'm trying to make a video mix with Rekordbox via Syphon, in audio preferences it appear my Pioneer controller DDJ-RB but when I start to record, Syphon record only the video but no audio at all. I use MacBook Air, I really want to know the reason why when I record video sets, the USB cable from the controller won't record the audio.
When I just make an audio mix totally works, except when I try to make a video mix.
I appreciate any help.
Thanx!!
