Hallo! I would like to make some questions about my SX2. I am an old serato user but i was hoping to try and move to rekordbox. So i downloaded the trial and hooked up my SX2 controller which i was expecting to run smoothly with rekordbox since it is a pioneer controller. Instead of that I was really disappointed to see many problems during my first set. For example the fader leds were acting crazy and it was almost impossible to estimate the volume of the track. The master level leds were ok but the channel leds were impossible to tolerate. My next major issue was the enormous delay when i was pressing some buttons like the auto loop. A delay about 2 seconds. The loops were ok because of the quantize feature but not at the moment i was pressing the button. What was almost impossible to handle was the slicer, the buttons were pressed with huge delay that was making it impossible to stay on beat making this feature completely useless. Could you tell me if this is the way SX2 is behaving with rekordbox or is it something i should had done like an update or something? Because i had no problems with my SX2 running serato. Should I abandon the idea of moving to rekordbox or is it something i could solve?

I have SX2 too. On my controller everything is good, maybe try uninstall rekordbox dj & drivers and install again. In rekordbox settings change in "controller" section and "others" quantize beat value to 1/16 or 1/8 if you got delay.
Hallo and thank you for your response. Are your channel leds working ok? Where exactly are these settings you mentioned? I will try reinstall to see how it goes. I run it on a mac so I don't have to install drivers
Click: File-Preferences-Controller-Others (on the top tab) and change "Quantize Beat Value" to 1/16 or 1/8.
Have You update frimware on SX2 to 1.06 version? Maybe thats why.
I did all that. The quantize got better. I checked the firmware, i had the latest. Do your channel leds work ok? Mine don't they really light up like crazy, there is no connection with the sound
maybe you must change latency to 512 ?
What version of rekordbox are you using?
The latest. I updated yesterday i think it's 4.2.1 I might have found the problem. I inserted all my library but i didn't have the time to analyze it so I started playing with the trial but it looks like it is analyzing tracks even during the playback, it is quite different from serato at this. I moved out all my songs from the library and imported back only a couple of files, I analyzed all of the songs and then it worked ok. Everything was fine except for the leds that work better than before but they seem to be a little out of time, they don't correspond to the exact sound I am hearing like they did when I was using serato.
