I have been having various problems with my rekordbox library and have just been advised that a 12000 track library complete with metadata maybe causing sudden delays and loss of functionality on my controller.
It has been suggested that I should run my music through iTunes? As in having my music data stored in iTunes and using the iTunes link in Collection tree to create playlists in Rekordbox.
How can I take all my music with metadata from Rekordbox (delete) > Open in iTunes (with metadata) > Use iTunes Tree link to open Music (with my saved memory cues)??
I can obviously just delete / add to iTunes / open from iTunes tree link but all my metadata (cues etc) have been lost.
I have tried so many things and I am at the point where I am willing to loose all my metadata so please if you have an ideas share them??
And do people generally run all there music on and through Rekordbox or are people using iTunes?
Thanks in advance,
Dan FX

I avoid iTunes for almost everything, all my music is imported directly into rekordbox. Who told you to use iTunes?
That's really interesting Pulse Thank You!! The store where I purchased controller advised me that all my issues (I have had many) are likely elated to my library being to dense and it is BEST not to have music directly on rekordbox platform? I did think this was odd!! Could you please advise me how exactly you manage your music on Rekordbox? I have now consolidated all my music into one folder and whilst doing this I completely lost about 400 tracks ~ I am not sure if this is a bug or maybe files were corrupt but when I try and download those specific songs again and then add to library - rekordbox won't . I use only Performance mode and was running 12000 tracks
