Yes, you can disable DEMO MODE by following the instructions on page 17 of the DDJ-RB user manual.
Just curious if anyone knows of a way to prevent the DDJ-RB from going into the blinking "light show" mode after sitting idle for a while. It might be cute on a retail sales floor but at home on my desk it is very distracting when it kicks in. I also use the DDJ-RB as a soundcard for other applications, so I would prefer to leave it plugged in. I've dug around the settings and have been unable to find anything to make it stop. If there is no way, I hope Pioneer will add a way in a future firmware update.
Thanks in advance.

Ok, I've looked at the manual and noted the selection of performance pad to switch off the demo mode.
It does not make it clear when the button should be selected. I have tried when the mode/lights are active. Pushing a button only stops demo mode but doesn't disable it completely.
Please help!
