DJM 909 NEED LCD ASSY part# dwx2317 / dwx2571

I am the owner of a used Pioneer DJM 909 purchased from eBay. I removed the circuit boards to inspect and clean the product after I got it and I successfully repaired the stuck/broken brightness/contrast resistors, the RCA connections for both ch1 and ch2, and a pool of dried up soda that got spilled onto the touch screen and around the bank button area some time ago. After this procedure the mixer worked properly.

Unfortunately, It was after I removed the old yellow LED's to put new white LED's in the display that the mixer is currently not functioning properly. There was a contact pad in two locations removed from the PCB ( circuit board) while removing old solder that held two 3mm LEDs in place (in the bank area), to which i jumped these positive LED's directly to the resistors that are on the board, then tested them with continuity and it reads 263 which is what all the others read at that same location.  Unbeknownst to me at the time the soda spill had damaged the board, causing a corrosive build under these contact pads between them and the board.

So, I figure I can rule out the possibility of a faulty soldering job, however... When I pulled the flexible white ribbon connector from the LCD assembly, the connectors on one side of the ribbon got bent sideways, so I cut the ribbon straight across the top, shortening the ribbon by approx 2mm's and retested for continuity when plugged into the mixer, and each pin has continuity... Which leads me to question why would the mixer not function?

I hear the relay clicks when I turn it on with everything closed up and connected, but nothing happens after that. I made sure to have all the LED positives to the left just as they were when I took them out. I can send pictures of the work for you to see and perhaps you can help me figure this out! I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my old mixer which is now discontinued...  If you happen to know of a refurb exchange program or know of a way I can get this LCD assembly part for less than $300, leave a comment!
