What's the model of those drives? Typically the USB drive itself is the bottleneck, not the software.
is this a feature in the works or if not, why not?
i have a pretty heavy duty rendering pc (intel i7 6700k, 64gb ddr4 ram, running samsung 850 ssd drives for my storage and a 1080 gtx) trying to 16GB of music to 2x 32GB kingston usb 3.0 drives using usb 3.0 ports. it's looking like it's going to take 8h to complete and rekordbox is almost completely frozen during this process. and yet my cpu is registering a peak load of 17% usage and the ram is peaking at 6% load.
this is a absurdly low performance for a professional tool, especially if someone was in a hurry. so could there be a function implemented that really uses the performance of a pc, even if it had to completely stop all other functions that rekordbox does. because manually it takes me maybe 10 minutes to transfer this exact data to those exact usb drives using these same ports. what possible explanation could there be to slow down this process by 4800%?
