hot cue problems rekordbox

yep big Problem since rb don't write the metadata into the tags. still don't know how to handle this since i analyze files on 5 diferent machines and merge them via Network to my dj Laptop.

only solution atm is to grid them in Traktor and convert the db everytime completely with rbuddy.

pls pioneer write the cues/Loops/grids into the tags every other Software does this too since years without any Problems.

I was using traktor but my rzx is not compatible with it so had no choice
Now I am realising that rekordbox is just not up to the job yet
If your software is not up to it make the rzx traktor compatible

So dose that mean when you take your tunes on a memory stick to another rekordbox divice or laptop there will be no cues saved
If this is the case pioneer you need to get your s*** together
So the the only way to take your cue points with you is on a sheet of paper with times wrote on
This has gone back 10 year I though pioneer was the future
Will someone from pioneer please explain what is going to happen please

the cues/grids/Loops are all stored in an external db NOT in the file itself. means that if your db gets fucked up in any way all work will go to hell and you can start gridding etc again. same when you rename a file or move it in your Folder structure (every day work for DJs) you have to put it in the db as a new file and grid/cue/Loop again. also the waveform has to be build from scratch (serato even stores the waveform in the files Header without Problems since day one).

don't know why they choose this way to handle essential metadata, it's no rocketscience to write in the files Header, there is plenty of space for every Software that writes there. never had any with metadata in the files Header in over 10years of playing digital.

You would otherwise be unable to load your rekordbox export USB device in someone else's computer.

I have tryed to relocate but when I click on the file and go to relocate it is not highlighted and won't let me select it also the export is the same is there a setting I need to change to let me select them

i want to move a file from 1 folder to another but when i do by dragging and dropping i lose all my cues n loops you said at the top of this screen relocate it with the relocate tool but its not highlighted as if to tell me that its not an option

why???

It's not an option because you either...

a) don't have a song selected in the collection

or...

b) the audio file associated with the selection in the collection is NOT MISSING and doesn't require relocation

muy buenas, llevo varios días en intentar solucionar mi problema desde el software, edito y marco los hot cues, hago clic en Memory pero el soft no me guarda los hot cues, cual será mi error ?? ..Obviamente tampoco me guarda el orden de los Bpm, exportar a una unidad USB, agradeceria ayuda estimados, muchas gracias. 

Pd: uso W10 estoy actualizado

@Javier > Memory and Hot Cue are two different things.

If you are trying to keep the order of a playlist sorted by BPM, then click Playlist > Renumber Track Order.
