Little or no sound being recorded from DJM 600

Hoping someone can help me with this!

I am trying to record some mixes but can't seem to get the input volume to the right level, the loudest I have gotten it is -54db and thats with the trim and master levels maxed out. 

I am currently running two cdj 1000 mk3 through a DJM 600 mixer that's connected to my mac via a sound blaster usb external soundcard.

I have tried using the master out and the rec out and have made sure the soundcard has been selected as the input device and tried recording through different DAW but have had the same results.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
