DDJ SB2 as a Midi Controller

Hi everyone,

I'm currently using a DDJ SB2 and I found out that it can be used as a MIDI controller in music production softwares like Logic Pro X? I do have Logic Pro but when I try to connect my controller, it shows that there is a signal on my screen but I don't hear anything.

Is it not plug and play? May be asking a really stupid question here but I'm not sure what are the steps I should be taking to make this controller compatible with Logic. Am I supposed to be doing something else first?

The controller is connected to my Macbook with a USB (input) and has an RCA going out to two speakers (output). I hope someone can help me with this :(

So you want to use the SB2 to trigger things in Logic, right.  I'll verify, but I don't believe it will work since the sound card is certified to Serato or Rekordbox.  You could use a TSI file and intro duce another sw program, but I don't think it will trigger as a Midi controller and then accept audio down stream as well.
