Rekordbox or Rekordbox DJ for the XDJ-RX?
I'm using my laptop with regular (free) version of the Rekordbox pro linked via switch to CDJ2000 NXS players, but I'm looking for a more portable spare solution and want to get the XDJ-RX, however I'm confused as to which version of Rekordbox works with the XDJ-RX. The official Pioneer website lists the Rekordbox DJ as compatible, but it seems that some people use the regular free version of the Rekordbox. Can anyone elaborate on this? Also, do you connect your laptop to the XDJ-RX via switch or directly with USB cable?

I use xdj rx through link with ethernet cable with record box 4.2.1. without licence. I think you can work with it!

I use proformance mode it works really well has a few bugs with the software but it does work better than having to give up your internet just to be able to play a set
