Low output on DDJ-SZ

Suddenly my output have permanently decreased and when I get over +0, there is very bad distortion... What to do?

Tried to update driver, firmware and Traktor, but nothing new. Also tried switching to soundcard B and a diffrent USB.

Also had another hooked up to my DDJ-SZ, and using both Traktor and Serato, but the problem remains, so this leads me to think it is a hardware issue.

Is there a way to boost the output like the screw on the back on DJM 800/900?

Hi, maybe the hardware selfs could damp your output.

Try to check the SZ Utility mode - Manual - 5.Changing the Settings

I have set my DDJ-SX master output tresshold to -0,6db

edit:
remind that the mixers like DJM 700 are basically analog mixers, they could clip the sound without cracking the sound.
but its a different story with the Digital mixers like the DDJ is.
You have to make sure that your audio files you would play are full analyzed. Also check your mixers Gain, Lower the Channel Outputs to 0db at every mix situation, otherwise the Software (as well as Traktor and Serato) will compress the sound (if not Deactivated *realy not recommend, trust me*

ddj sz mater volume is not loud enough :(

I own a ddj sz and a xdj rx , with rekodbox dj , when I use the ddj sz , the volume is so much weaker then xdj rx ..

the xdj rx respond to the mixing cross fader curve that is on the controller menu , use the last curve and u get the best sound from it and it is awesome . To do this on rekodbox dj >preference ( the star thingy )>controller >mixer > logarithmic curve, . U will get a very goooood sound and will be very happy with xdj rx , but I don't know why , when I use ddj sz the sound sinks so bad and it doesn't respond to any of the 3 curves from the menu . the only respond is from the local knob at the crossfader curve on the front (edge) . I hope pioneer can do something about this and if the DDJ SZ can do the same as XDJ RX .. it will the best ever controller machine in this world . I hope pioneer will look into this
