Hi. I've been able to use my CDJ400s perfectly in HID-mode with both Traktor Pro 2 and Rekordbox DJ for a long time now. I bought a new laptop (Windows 10), installed all the drivers, and now which ever player I choose as deck 1 only plays one channel of the two stereo channels (left). This is on both Traktor and Rekordbox DJ. I've changed all my usb - cables, and the players play regular cds just fine, full stereo on both players. Figured it must be something in my new laptop's settings so hooked up my old one (also Windows 10), and it now has the exact same issue. Both laptops also have the latest versions of Rekordbox DJ. I've also installed the latest firmware on both CDJs (although that hasn't been updated since 2011).
The problem is always whichever player is deck 1 in either Traktor or Rekordbox DJ, not set on either player. Because when I change the deck on the players the problem also changes players.
I'm stumped, any help?
Did you install the updated audio drivers? That allows you to aggregate multiple CDJs to be recognized as one "device" under Windows, as both of those applications only allow for a single audio device to be selected for output. Please check that and configure the outputs within the software properly.
The deck selection is only for HID / MIDI control, not audio output.
