Make the cue point before the auto-loop.
Deactivate the vinyl mode, press Play then press it again, you will ear the music like looping, use the jog to choose the perfect cue.

Manual cue problem XDJ-R1
Hello,
I just bought the XDJ-R1 and I'm having problems making a manual cue point. When starting a loop via auto loop (even when I've paused the song), or making a cue point to start the song from (again, pausing the song and then choosing Cue), the XDJ-R1 always seems to choose its own cue point – always a few frames off the point I've chosen.
How do i overrule this? How do I make sure that the XDJ-R1 uses my cue point?
