Also, for what it's worth if I pause the audio and use the job wheels to drag the waveform across the playhead, the audio seems to be aligned with the beat grid.

FollowAck! My audio does not align with my waveform
I am using RekordBox 6.7.5 on a i9 16GB MacBook Pro 16 runiing Ventura 13.5
I have a DDJ-FLX4, but this problem exists with or without the FLX4 hooked up
I load a super simple track, a 125 BPM bass drum and snare; boom-chick-boom-chick, etc.. the grid is aligned on the beats
when I play, the audio lags the waveform (and so also the beat grid) by about half a beat. When I try to punch a second track by listening to the audio it is always off by that same half a beat.
It's not that i'm that bad at matching the 1 beat.. It's always the exact same half beat.. I know I'm not that bad (or that good to get it perfectly on the half beat every time, lol)
Any ideas why it's laggy?
Thanks,
- Michael

Guess what I learned today?
Don't mix with a bluetooth headset!!
on a hunch I tried my wired AKGs and the beats are fine.
Crisis averted.. nothing to see here
