If you want to use both laptops and always keep your library in sync, the most convenient way would be to sync them both via Cloud Library Plus.

Backup Library + Music
I have rekordbox installed on my primary laptop (macbook air) and also on a Windows laptop. bring both to my gigs in case the primary pukes on me. Because the mac is my primary, I backup up my database and library to my NAS every week. So I want to keep my Windows laptop in sync with the backup from the mac -- is it possible to restore this backup to the Windows laptop so then they could be in sync?
