DDJ-400 & External USB Hard Drive

Hi,

How can I get Rekordbox (Ver 6 using Hardware Unlock) to see an external USB hard drive on my laptop?

I've tried several and also tried formatting to FAT32 & eXFAT but although I can see the drive in the list it won't authenticate!
