CDJ 2000NXS Firmware 1.40

That Firmware 1.40 is for the CDJ-2000nxs2, it won't work if you try it on the CDJ-2000nexus, the last Firmware for CDJ-2000NXS – CHANGE HISTORY

is the only one since March 9th of 2016, I don't think there will be another one

as most DJ's (who can afford it) has already move on to the CDJ-2000nxs2

I will selling mine 2 CDJ-2000nexus to my local Guitar Center, they are only interested

in Pioneer DJ suff and Techincs Turntables, they didn't even want my Pioneer PLX-1000

turntables, so they passed on them, that's ok, I'll just keep them, they sound great...

No. its clearly to the CDJ-2000 NXS, not NXS2. In the link you se that its under the CDJ-2000NXS support page, and the update fil name is C2KNXS.UPD. The CDJ-2000NXS2 file name is C2KNXS2.UPD. The NXS2 update is also 1.51, not 1.40

Well here is what it says: maybe it's a typo, this is the version I have, there is no 1.40 or 1.51 at least not for the CDJ2000nxs now there is an update for the CDJ2000nxs2

I did try and update the 1.40 on my CDJ2000nxs and it didn't work, it did NOTHING!

can someone from PIONEER confirm this? there seems to be a typo

So, tomorrow should see the offical release of the Ver.1.40 for the CDJ-2000NXS then? Nice! Was planning to upgrade our decks and mixers this weekend, so I´ll wait with downloading the files until everthing is out for Ver. 1.40 then :)

Perhaps a stupid question, but want to be sure, first time upgrading firmware on our Pioneer stuff.

I need to upgrade 3xCDJ-2000NXS, 2xCDJ-900 and 2x DJM-850K, and I´ve found all the files and procedures, no problem there, but for example, our CDJ-2000NXS are running i think Ver. 1.10 on 2 of them and Ver. 1.12 on the other, not sure about the CDJ-900s, but they are likely in the Ver. 2 range, not even close to 4.32 or what ever the latest is. 

I´m assuming that I can just run the latest version firmware on each deck (900 firmware for 900 and so on), and the latest version will include all fixes from the previous updates? There is no need to apply each version in sequence or anything like that?

Mark! Can i now safly install 1.40 firmware on my CDJ-2000NXS?

I instaled the firmware and i got no errors! I alsow instaled the new firmware to the djm-900nxs!

I've so far installed the Ver. 1.40 on one of our CDJ-2000NXS, no problem at all, no errors, and so far everything I've tried works, but gonna do some more testing before upgrading the rest of our decks, just to be sure. That deck was upgraded from Ver. 1.22, and the indicators showed only the Main updating.
I also updated one of our DJM-850 from Ver 1.00 to 1.10, same there, no problems and they have added a Peak Limiter function :-)

Can Pioneer perhaps explain more on the "Search using multiple words by adding a space in the [SEARCH] category." update?

@Armand > Previously, if you wanted to search for a song you had to search for words in sequence.  For example, if you wanted to search for Bon Jovi - Living on a Prayer... you would have to type those words in the correct order.  Now, you can type "Jovi Prayer" and you will get the same results.  It's a time saver!
