Loop function Pioneer in general and CDJ2000NXS2

Hi everybody,

I have two issues regarding loops and can't find a solution in one of the other posts. So here we go:

1.) I'm used to work from Traktor with active loops. Which means, a loop can be activated at for example 1:00 and when the track is started from the beginning and passes this loop, the loop will be activated automatically again. How can I do this with rekordbox (either in performance mode or on CDJ)? I guess it must be set as a "hot loop", but how do I do this?

2.) when working with CD2000NXS2 and the Auto Loop-function, I want to change the length of the loop, which is comfortable to with the touch screen. But by changing the length, the loop always starts from the beginning. Which is not in rekordbox performance. How can I change the lengths without affecting the synchronisation?

Thanks!

1. set a loop, save it to memory and then click the box to make it an "active loop", it willl then always loop on its own when it hits that point

2. I have them and don't remember if it starts the loop over by using the left and right memory call buttons, try that maybe, other then that there would be no way

Thanks for your help. The active loop thing is too complicated from my view. I wish it could be more intuitive.

The problem with the loop jump also comes up by using the left/right buttons.

Thanks for your help. Is there any way to convert all Loops (which are saved in rekordbox) into active loops? And - that's what I meant with intuitive - it's not possible to do it directly on CDJ 2000NXS2 when playing a set, right? Or is there any setting which makes all loops automatically as hot loops?

you can only set 1 active loop per track so you couldn't convert all your loops in a track to active

this cannot be done from the CDJ unfortunately

Set it in Rekordbox and it will automatically start.  A lot of DJs will set auto loops at the end of songs so if they get stuck they are ok with the track playing through.  All loops being auto in each song doesn't make sense, thats what the call buttons can do.
