DDJ-SR deck 2 slider broken

 Hi,

I own a DDJ-SR , a few weeks ago some liquid got into the deck 2 volume slider. At first it seemed fine, however, it then began to be unable to go completely silent and has recently stopped working all together. Unfortunately my insurance ran out a month prior :( Standard , am I right ? .

Does any one know the most cost effective way to fix this problem , preferably without spending a tone to send it to pioneer. The problem seems similar to that of a dead key on a keyboard.
