Open the Audio MIDI Settings application, go to the MIDI Studio window, find the DDJ-SX, select it and delete it, then click the "Rescan" button at the top (with the SX connected via USB), and try again.
Hi,
I am currently using a Pioneer DDJ-SX controller and connecting to my Macbook Air (2014) using Rekordbox which I newly purchased. I have been using the controller with the laptop for a while now and have had no problems, but recently the controller has stopped appearing when I connect the two.
Using the FAQ page on this website I have looked for solutions and none have worked so I think there must be a fault with my controller..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Dom.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Tried this, still had no luck. I think my USB port is broken..
