Official comment
There is no true "removal," at the very least, you're left with one "phrase" for the whole track.
Is there a reason you need / want to remove it?

Cannot delete phrase from track
I'm trying to remove the phrase from a track. I've tried the Clear button which says it will remove all phrase but leaves the Intro in place. After reading the guide I see this is actually expected behaviour. This means the warning message saying all Phrases will be deleted in misleading and should be updated to say the intro will be left.
I also tried to analayze the track again with the Phrase checkbox unticked but that also leaves any existing Phrases on the track.
So how do I remove a Phrase completely?

Just wanted to tidy up the tracks I had already analysed. I've just turned off the phrases from displaying in the waveforms instead.

You can edit them by dragging the edges of the phrases around, or using the beat grid editor to cut / clear them.
Or ... just hide them, as you've done. ;)

Maybe do a re-add to the library? Agree to the option of just removing it..
