I hope on a release of a new product with the same features as on the DDJ-1000 but for Serato !!
Also a possibility on the 2 decks to hav an USB entry will be great.
Too much asked??
Hello!
Glad to see that pioneer finally released a great DDJ for recordbox, with an affordable price.
I'm actually thinking of switching my DDJ-SZ2 to a DDJ-1000 since i wanna go over to rekordbox DJ. But still I'm a bit skeptical due to the price differences. I don't want to go down in audio quality and was therefore wondering if a Pioneer representative could help me out the make me understand the difference in hardware.
Is these joggwheels also touch senstive or is it like the real CDJ-2000 joggs?
I also noted that there was not any knob for handling the cut of the fader, but maybe this is done in the software settings for the DDJ-1000?
Big thanks .
Best regards / Peter R

they are both probably using the same soundcard, as far as traktor and rekordbox goes on the RX, there is a big difference in sound quality, and seeing the RX does'nt have a full hardware mixer when using PC input, Pioneer needs to recode the XDJ EQ's built into rekordbox from scratch
But the DDJ-1000 has a stand alone mixer part, exactly like the RZ.. So that’s why I’m asking :)
the RX is standalone when using line/phono inputs, but the XDJ EQ, will be the EQ that is used in the firmware for the standalone side of the mixer too
if you update the software EQ's, then all the controllers will need new firmware's aswell
it might sound good when you are playing original wav files, but mp3 are not so good
The cut of the fader is managed in the software settings for the DDJ-1000
the ddj1000 doesnt have the wolfsen DAC, so in theory is not as good. I went from a RZ to an RR recentley but cant say ive noticed a difference and joe public certainly havent.
i think you would need to do a side by side to really notice, but everybodys different.
The DDJ-1000 has the same exact jog wheel as the CDJ-2000NXS2. Literally, the same exact part.
