This fixture seems to be not correct. It is not possible to change any color.

@andreokay > Our team has tested this fixture in the database and believes your problem may be because the color wheel is on continuous mode. My recommendation would be to verify that the fixture matches the channel mode selected; if you are using 9ch mode on the fixture but 11ch mode in the software, it will send the wrong signals.

@Pulse

Hi,

i tried to use both versions, 9 and 11 channel and set them accordingly in the device settings. both don't work with color change.

I connected a standard dmx controller and tried it by hand. there it works as expected.

That means, if the light is turned on in channel 7 and the dimmer is > 0 in channel 8 I was able to choose the color with channel 5.

In the english manual which is posted in here it only says CH5: 0 - 127 Color to select.

My manual has a english and a german version. In the german version CH5 is described a little bit better. It says for 0 - 127:

0 - 15 = white

16 - 31 = red

32 - 47 = light blue

48 - 63 = orange

64 - 79 = blue

80 - 95 = yellow

96 - 111 = green

112 - 127 = rose

I don't know why the english version of the manual does not state the exact colors but here they are.

But in fact the color isn't changing, that still does not work. Hope I helped and you can help me.

I tried to edit the master db by myself (I am a software engineer). I had a look at some other examples with a color wheel.

I saw that the color wheel for channel 5 is not correct implemented. I updated it according to the color table above:

- fixture_position_master = one more line + different start/end level and correct start_level_position and end_level_position.

- fixture_slot_master = colors according to the 8 value ranges from 0 - 127

I saved that to the master db (and I got the correct db, because I tested it by deleting some things which I later reverted) and the color still stays white.

I don't have any more ideas whats wrong with that fixture implementation.

The update does not change anything, the device does still not work.

Which lighting database version are you using? The current version is 1018.

Just ran into the same issue but with data on channel 5 being sent (causing a slow flash). Happens even without going into macro mode, eg. clicking the fixture in the assignment screen does this (instead of lighting it up).  On version 1033.

Confirmed normal function by using normal DMX software and turning up faders.

Hy,

I have several of those devices, more or less they're working quite fine but what needs to get fixed is the colour mapping.

this seems to be the correct mapping (as already posted above):

0 - 15 = white

16 - 31 = red

32 - 47 = light blue

48 - 63 = orange

64 - 79 = blue

80 - 95 = yellow

96 - 111 = green

112 - 127 = magenta

also the 11ch mapping seems to be way more screwed up than the 9 ch. it changes gobos and colours when it not should. even if it is said that rb can't map gobos its changing them in 11ch mode automatically?!

can you please fix the colour mapping for 9 and 11 channels?

the rest of the mapping seems to work fine.

thx in advance for your help!

The color mapping of the Mini Gobo Moving Head Light 25W is as you asked.
