Pushed back release of ddi 1000 in canada?

Might be a stupid question. But is there any reason why the release date of the DDJ-1000 is pushed from March 9th, to late March, Now Late April? I have money on it thru Long & McQuades and am looking forward to getting it. Tho I am still skeptical of Rekordbox and switching from Serato, As when I try to turn my serato crates into collection so I can search for songs, a lot of my crates won't switch because some have mp3 and other mp4 in the same crate?

But yeah, I hope the release date of the DDJ-1000 doesn't turn into how the ddi-sx went. I know a guy who order the DDJ-sx before it was released in canada and it ended up taking him months before he got it

We don't have specific information on shipments or stock for retailers, but it could be that there weren't many allocated to Canada or purchased by the distributor. Best to contact L&M for delivery date info.

Regarding your crate conversion, because rekordbox doesn't support mixed-media playlists (it has to do with exporting to CDJs, which don't support video files), my recommendation is to create two playlists, one under audio, the other under video, and drag-and-drop the contents of the Serato playlist first to one, then to the other. That way nothing is missed.
