CDJ's and VBR

So I saw a lot of older post stating VBR's are a bad match with CDJ's. But it's the year 2018 now and I wonder if there are still troubles with VBR. And if so, what is the best recent tool to batch convert those files?

There is no good reason to use VBR files. There's plenty of applications to cross-encode, even iTunes can convert them for you.

Two reasons:

- The collection I have contains a lot of VBR's (unfortunately)

- VBR to 320 will casue quality loss (transcoding from lossy to lossy)

You won't "lose" any quality by cross-converting to the highest-quality CBR, and there are tools (including iTunes) that can batch-convert.
