Headphones - press the orange CUE button on the channel you want to preview, and make sure the headphone mix knob is in the middle, and volume is turned up:

DDJ 1000 Headphones and Vinyl Mode
Can't seem to get the headphones to work and not sure how to turn on/off the vinyl mode. Please help.

You can turn on/off vinyl mode by holding the shift button and then pressing the slip button.

why is the SLIP mode is always on when i turn on the controller?
cant i disable it one and for all?
