Pioneer DDj1000

Hello,

I recently bought the new "Pioneer DDJ1000 and as such, I've had to migrate from "Serato" to "RekordBox" as well.
Now, am trying to get set up and it's quite a learning curve!
What I cannot figure out, is how to assign One shot Samples to output to all decks as opposed to only deck 1.
When in the sampler window along the output menu...Clicking on the "A" option does nothing.
Also, is it possible to change the key notation from the BM,F#m etc to 1A,3B etc notation
Kindly assist.
Thank you
MazettiDj

There is no assignment for the output channel because the DDJ-1000 has a dedicated control, so it's basically "direct."

Re: key notation, that's called "Camelot notation" and unfortunately is not yet supported, hopefully in a future update.

For Key Notation I use another unused field/tag (in my case I use Original Artist) that RB allows you to edit and display, and put the Camelot notation there.  If you are satisfied with the Key Analysis that Rekordbox does then all you need to do is cross reference the minor/major scale to Camelot notation and edit the tags in a block tag editor (like MP3Tag).  For instance if RB analyzed 10 of your tracks as A Major, you would open those 10 tracks in MP3Tag and update the field you chose with 11B.  Back in RB you simply reload your tags, and add the new tag to your display (in my case I have the "Original Artist" tag next to my Key Tag in my column display).  Works great!  Here is a conversion I found from another poster named Northrider.  Hope this helps!

A = 11B

Ab = 4B

Am = 8A

B = 1B

Bb = 6B

Bbm = 3A

Bm = 10A

C = 8B

C#m = 12A

Cm = 5A

D = 10B

Db = 3B

Dm = 7A

E = 12B

Eb = 5B

Ebm = 2A

Em = 9A

F = 7B

F#m = 11A

Fm = 4A

G = 9B

G#m = 1A

Gb = 2B

Gm = 6A
