DJ equipment in Tokyo?

Hi,

I wanted to pick up a specific piece of Pioneer equipment and was wondering if anyone could recommend where to look for secondhand or discounted new equipment. My first thought is Akihabara but I heard that it's actually hard to find good prices there on electronics as it has become somewhat of a tourist trap.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
