DDJ-1000 Release FX

Hello, i have brought a new DDJ-1000 with the rekordbox software , everything is working fine except for the release fx effects , when i'm trying to press it no response is happening even not blinking and when i press shift with the release fx button it starts blinking and cut the music off (the same effect is being played when i press both shift+release fx although i tried to change the effect to roll,delay,flanger....etc) .Any help please how to let the release FX works ?
