Rekordbox Lighting - FX and laser fixtures

Hello,

I've just received my RB-DMX1 after waiting for quite a long time before they became available.

However I was unpleasantly suprised that the software doesn't work with my American DJ Stinger FX fixture and Laserworld PRO1300-RGB adv laser. I'm wondering when will the support for more fixture types come to the Rekordbox lighting mode?

Right now for me at least with my setup RB-DMX1 becomes a paper weight with my main fixtures being unsupported in software :(. And of course it wasn't possible for me to know that my fixtures won't work.

Sorry guys, those lighting fixture types are not currently supported by rekordbox. There is only control for:

- movers
- pars
- bars
- strobes
- pinspots

FX or multi-function fixtures, lasers, fog / haze machines, etc. are not currently controllable due to the variety of different devices and functions. While they may be added to the database already (or added after a request), they won't necessarily perform as expected until those fixture types are added. Similarly, support for advanced functions such as gobo, prism, zoom, pixel-mapping, etc. are not currently available but we also hope those can be added.

Our lighting team is working hard to improve the functionality and your feedback and patience are appreciated. Thanks.

i agree 100 percent...please let us know if these fixtures will be supported in future updates or should i try to sell my rb-dmx...i haven't used it once for a gig yet. it seems like it could have so much potential though.
