Moved database to merge libraries from 2 mac´s. Now i lost all my track analyzation and hot cues

Hello everyone,

I´m sitting at home the night before a gig and trying to merge my old laptops rekordbox library with my new desktop mac rekordbox library.

I followed the step of this article:

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/205021549-Moving-Your-Rekordbox-Database-Video-

After having loaded the Database from my old laptop(which now is on an external harddrive) onto my desktop mac, all of my bpm data and analyzation is gone. both form my old and new library.

Please can someone tell me if i just screwed myself over big time, and lost all that information for +1k tracks? redoing them will mean hours of work.

i also have to relocate all the tracks as the relocate all function isnt there. And i dont get a pop up asking me to relocate all the other files.

I luckily still have my usb with the libraries intact but cant seem to find a way to load all the information back into rekordbox.

the fix for now is that i prepare a seperate usb for my gig tomorrow, and access my old libraries on the old stick.

if anyone has any leads on how to retrieve this information i would be eternally gratefull !

Merge...? There's not exactly a built-in method to do it easily.

You can use the steps @MixMasterG outlined below, but this will put your music files in a different file structure than you may have previously used, but they'll be in the collection!

Import the playlists from your stick into your library.

(under device->right click->import)

if your cues/loops etc dont' make it over the first time, do it a second time but chose "update library"  (It's a known bug)
