Possible culprits:
- the network type was set to "public" or "work" as opposed to "private" on that computer
- there was an IP conflict
- the firewall was not configured properly
- the router was managing / filtering some of the traffic
This was working before, but not now...
I have a 8x port router. On it 4cdj2k nxs2 (or sometimes 3 and 1djs1000) and djm9000nxs2. On the router is my pc connected via lan cable. When i try to connect, everything is fine. Then i try to connect a laptop with rekordbox the same way (via lan cable) but it wont connect. Only if i close rekordbox on the pc and restart rekordbox on the laptop the link button becomes klik-able...
Booth pc and laptop run windows 10. Specs are more than enough and like i said, it was working before. Don't know exactly when (at what rekordbox version) because i don't connect 2 rekordbox often at home.

Thank you Pulse for the answer. Looks like from the 1709 (or 1803) win10 update, every unidentified network is automatically set to public profile without any way to change it to private...
