Good day, I'm upgrading from the DDJ-RB to DDJ-RR just concern I'm selling the RB with de-activating licence for the buyer to use. As I got RekordBox software installed can I just re-activate using the licence from the RR or do I uninstall the software. Apologies just being cautious as I struggled with other vendor software really can't be down

Yep - and did you also file an inquiry ticket to have our rekordbox team disassociate that licence from your account? If not, the license is only deactivated from your computer, and would not be able to be activated by another user.

Or to keep things simple, just leave it activated with the key that came with your RB and give the buyer the key from your RR.
Thanks a mil for the response had to DE-activate the license as the new buyer came to collect the RB and I'm waiting for the RR to arrive will be few days. Shame he's was desperate to start.
Hi there, I didn't file a ticket but my laptop was online while I did the deactivation. I checked with buyer and he could activate without problems.
@Mark > Deactivating the license only deactivates that serial number from your computer - not your account. Did you give him your account credentials to login and activate it?
I'm not sure that step is necessary anymore - when I bought my RZ, the guy I got it from just deactivated then and there and I activated it to my account just fine.
Same as when I sold my spare license on eBay...
