DDJ-SP3 mic can only be heard through the headphones

I have the SP3 hooked up to a desktop. I am using the computer sound card for master out and the SP3 card for the headphones. This works great. I can record using Virtual DJ 8.3. My issue is the mic. the mic works but isn't being channelled out with my master output (music out). I have changed the sound card use configuration and not only does it not change if I don't have the two sound card setting I will lose my headphone cue or master out. On the VDJ forum a couple of DJs said it was because I wasn't using the RCA master out. Like I said I am using the speakers hooked up to my computer. Is there a way to keep my current set up and have the mic work? Why wouldn't my voice be sent to the computer?

You have configured VDJ to have the master output going from the computer, but unfortunately the SB3 doesn't have an input audio channel so the mic input doesn't go to the computer, it just goes to the SB3's mixer > master output.

If you want to layer a mic in with VDJ to have it output from your speakers, I'd suggest connecting one to your computer and selecting that input.
