Hi guys,
Since a day or so I am using the new version of rekordbox, v 5.3.0. and I have to say - to me - it's still in pre-Alpha phase....I would not even want to call it a beta, as it crashes about 4 times in an hour.
I have had to rebuild my database ( wipe drive, start over ) and still it keeps on crashing on me every xx minutes.
I am running MacOS 10.13 . Anyone else have similar experiences ?
Any suggestions how I can go back to the previous versions ?

When you say "Crash" do you mean just the software, or the whole computer crashes/switches off?? Only ask as I had a whole laptop shut down the other night with no warning. Dancefloor full of people, horrible :(( I think mine may have been due to an overheating issue as my laptop is dated and it was a really hot evening.

Hey Steve,
I mean the program freezing up and being halted by the OS.
After several restarts I have finally been able to rebuild my playlists, however...starting sync master crashes the program again.
This update is real crap, please Pioneer bring back the previous version.
This just does NOT work on Mac OS.
Hi Peter,
Ok, yes I believe there may be have been some issues I've seen with High Sierra. I am a Windows user so can't comment on MAC sorry, but I have not experienced anything bad so far other than my full on crash! But pretty sure that wasn't RB! Make sure you're all up to date with any recent software updates if there have been any more since 5.3 and also check your Firmware is the latest version for your controller.
Hope you get it sorted soon :)
Steve
