Nah, that should be fine.
Hi,
I'm buying a new dedicated DJ laptop as I do live gigs local pubs/clubs. Sometimes my shifts are 5hrs long, I am worried about overheating, should this be an issue of concern? I was possibly looking at 'Gaming' laptops as they have better cooling, dual fans. Not always as portable though, I've found 14" fits pretty much most places I play without too many issues!
I'm just not sure if on a 7th or 8th Generation i5 or i7 this would be a worry now?
Thanks for your help,
Steve

Thanks Pulse! Does RB use the CPU heavy, or is it designed not to? Just curious how much it's drawing on my resources.
Thanks!
The more stuff you have happening, the more it will use. For example, if you have the video, sampler, effects, lighting, DVS, etc. all running on 4 decks, that will be a higher load than if you just had two decks playing music. Your usage will also depend on the other background tasks and available resources.
Understood. Thanks again.
