Friends,
I have received my new XDJ-RX2 and followed the precise steps in properly connecting the machine. I run MAC / High Sierra. The firewall is off and the drivers and USB/Ethernet link were installed prior to connecting the unit. Once I completed all of these steps, I checked the Audio device files and the XDJ does not show as a device. Within Rekordbox and the settings, I checked and the device/ headphones do not show as the master either. What am I missing here?
High Sierra has a mechanism for blocking unintended driver installations. Here's what you need to do:
- Install the drivers again.
- Right after that has completed, disable the High Sierra driver security.
- Install the drivers again immediately.

May I ask if I need to download the drivers and/or USB bridge in any order? Also, do I need to delete the previous downloads?
Just to be clear:
1. download the drivers
2. Disable high Sierra
3. Download Drivers again
Download the drivers from the website, open the package and inside is the installer. Run that file, finish the installation, then disable the High Sierra security, then go back to the package and run the installer file again.
