Cannot put audio and videos into one playlist?
Wow! Still one of the most listed requests for over a year and no insight into a resolution.
Please address this issue immediately, it's a killer for many playlists and sets I have constructed. The software should be able to play any media from any list (as long as it's a standard MP3 or MP4 file). Most shows lately for me and many of my peers are a mix of videos and music.
Without this capability I am required to write down my playlists and inject video into a music playlist manually, a MAJOR nightmare for a busy gig. Who can manage this task with any real library? And if you really want to jump through hurdles, you can rip MP4 to MP3 but you lose all of your cue points...
DJay Pro, Serato, Virtual DJ Pro all have this ability. I can do this on an iPad or iPhone with other software...
I moved to Pioneer for better hardware over Denon and Numark but this is a crippling oversight. The playlist should not care about file format if it meets requirements.
Please escalate this issue and share any insight you can.
I want to fully invest in Pioneer but this causes me great concern about amount of labor I will have to exert during my next gig. I am either required to convert all videos to MP3s (killing my media show), try to find mixes in video format (harder) or use the manual method I mentioned above. Additionally I cannot maintain synchronization between my iTunes playlists and Rekordbox.
