DDJ 1000 crossfader not centering

Hi

I got a Pioneer DDJ 1000, y put the crossfader in the center position, and, in the screen is one quarter to the left, really affects the mixing, I have already upgrade the firmware , and, is the same, i already upgrade the beta firmware and, still with the same problem,  please help me to resolve this

Thanks

The engineering team has informed me that the reason there are some differences in the accuracy of the position of the hardware to software because the resolution of the magvel pro crossfader in the DDJ-1000 is optimized for the extremities of the fader; in other words, it's much more accurate at the ends of the fader for scratching.

Don't worry 100% about the markings on the hardware mixer, simply move the crossfader to a position where the on-screen crossfader is at the mid-point and the audio will be balanced.

Which version of Rekordbox are you using? For many this was fixed in 5.3.0 along with the firmware update.

not fixed mine :(

still waiting for this to be resolved. I've been biteing my lip on this for a few months now. I didn't see the point of raising a "ticket" as this is happening with many users and most of the time these issues get resolved in updates. but since we got the last update and it's still same I'm raising my voice to this.

I just purchased (5/17/20) a DDJ 1000, My crossfader is off-center too in RB6. All my drivers and firmware are up to date. Do all DDJ 1000s have this issue? Is there a fix?

I did. When I move the crossfader to the middle of the onscreen in the RB6 software, then move the crossfader on the DDJ 1000 hardware again, it goes off-center again while set to the middle.

Do all DDJ 1000s units have this issue or are just some DDJ 1000s units crossfaders not lining up properly?

What I am getting at is I just dropped $1000+ on a new DDJ 1000, if this is an issue with some units only I'll exchange mine for another new unit while I can.

@Thomas > If you have the latest firmware installed and it's still an issue for you, you have the choice to either return it to your retailer, and there is the possibility it will also have a similar issue, or you can send it for servicing to have it inspected and adjusted if necessary.

Update to my previous comment: The issue was hardware related with the Magvel crossfader. I returned the unit and got a new DDJ-1000 sent to me. Everything works perfectly on the new unit. The Magvel now lines up in the center on the hardware and in the software. Resolved. Thanks for the help!

@Pulse

This is an issue for scratch djs that use sharp cuts on either end of the crossfader and it's not as accurate as implied by the official comment. As it's not centered, the cut lag is uneven and this leads to bleed on the side that is it's leaning more into when the fader is centered.

Someone in an fb group mentioned that there is a way to re-calibrate the fader in some hidden settings of powering on the controller and mentioned that they saw someone posting pics that provided the in instructions on how to do this.

Can u assure us of any way to rectifying the problem instead of telling us to ignore it?... cause I've seen some that are a bit off by more than just a few mm.
