Using CDJs - Somehow mixer channels are swapping over...

Started using my CDJ 850s with rekordbox DJ on Wednesday evening - everything worked perfectly and I was delighted.

Got home from work on Thursday, having changed nothing, switched everything back on again ready for another mix. This time, however, Deck 1 (Left Deck) is somehow and for some reason, outputting to channel 2 of my mixer. Deck 2 (Left Deck) is outputting to channel 1, naturally...

I have tried everything obvious - restarting everything several times, checking software versions, checking connections etc. but now I'm stumped... Has anyone ever come across this problem before? How is it even possible, since the decks are outputting to channels they aren't even plugged into?!?!

Another piece of information - this only seems to happen when both decks are connected. The deck I assign as Deck 1 remains so, until I connect the second. Then, even though I am assigning the second deck to be Deck 2, it seems to replace the former Deck 1 and outputs to channel 1 of the mixer, which, as I said, it isn't even connected to...

Some computers will do that for the identification of multiple devices that are aggregated; they can accidentally swap the connection order so the left deck isn't always "1."

My recommendation is to either swap the output configuration in rekordbox, or swap the device position within the aggregate (possible on a Mac). Let me know if you need more specific instructions.
