Sandisk extreme pro usb 3.1 + CDJ850

Hi,

I have Sandisk extreme pro usb 3.1 formatted in FAT32 and CDJ850 (v1.13 latest firmware).

When I plug in my USB I get the "USB ERROR" on the screen and it doesn't work. See screenshot.

How to solve it?

The official word is that the CDJ-850 was released prior to USB3 becoming mainstream, and as such, we can't guarantee universal compatibility with USB3 devices You may find some drives work and some don't - some may work with FAT32 and others may only work with HFS+. Sorry!

Is the filesystem also set for MASTER BOOT RECORD? If not, you may receive that error.

i have exactly the same, sometimes it does show the contents, but when i want to play a file, it gives the 8306 error. but i didn't remove any file as that error suggest, 100% sure

i tried everything i found here and on google, the only thing i can think of is that 850 don't work with USB 3.1, but the same stick does work perfectly on a 350 (!)

i bought these sticks exactly because everyone says it's the best, i really feel silly having bought a 850 and not being able to use it :'(

This is very bad, I just bought  2 of them as they were recommended on this forum. They are expensive and I have cdj850 and club has cdj850...

Pioneer, please make a firmware update for cdj850 on this issue!

i finally got it to work on the 850 with a sandisk ULTRA 64GB which is 3.0

so after a lot of testing, i can confirm the 850 doesn't work with either 256GB sticks nor 3.1 (extreme pro) sticks,

can you please fix this Pioneer? thanks in advance
