I have just received my DDJ-1000.
I've notices that there are 2 dust particles on the jog wheel screen (the two marked on the picture are under the platter and on the screen itself).
Is this expected? Is there a way to get under there somehow and clean this up?
This is pretty annoying :D
The displays in the jog are reasonably sealed, but not 100% to allow for changes in humidity. It's not recommended that you clean that yourself - please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region for servicing.

I have same issue.
I've taken the unit apart to try and get to the screens but it's a minefield!
Did you take any photos? Can't imagine many have been brave enough to do so. Curious to see what is in there!
Same problem here, but I have what looks like a finger print under the screen as well as dust particles
