Have you installed the correct DJM-450 drivers for your operating system and configured the audio device selection for the DJM-450 (or DJM-450 ASIO if you're on a PC) within the rekordbox preferences?
Hello
I'm trying to record a vinyl DJ set, using technics turntables, a DJM 450 and rekord box as a software. The DJM is plugged into my computer through a USB cable. Problem is, I don't get any sound. I'm in performance mode, and the software recognizes master out/ Channel 1/ Channel 2, but when I play a vinyl and record it, I get no sound at all.
Could you tell me how I should parameter Rekord box, and also the DJM 450 (should I put the buttons on LINE, or on the computer icon? I tried various combinations but none of them worked.)
Thank you very much in advance for your help

Yes, correct driver is installed and device selection is on DJM-450. I use a PC though, does it have to be DJM-450 ASIO? The choice appears in the list but i cant select it it seems.
Yes, it has to be the ASIO device or you won't have the inputs available.
Where is it that you can't select the ASIO driver?
In the preferences>audio section of rekord box, there's an "audio" sub-section where I need to select the device. DJM-450 ASIO is displayed in the menu, but when I click on it while the DJM-450 is plugged to my computer, it just remains on the default choice which is "no audio device". I'm able to select the DJM-450 but only the non-ASIO version and then I get no sound during recording. Please help me. Also if there's a way to record through usb but without using rekord box please let me know. At this point I just want to rekord my mix no matter the software.
@Alix > Please try uninstalling the DJM-450 drivers through the Windows control panel, restart your computer, and with the DJM-450 disconnected, install the drivers and reboot once more.
