Newbie Experience w/ DDJ-400

I just recently ordered a DDJ-400 and got it in. I have no previous experience with beat matching, or DJ'ing. The overall marketing around the 400 seems amazing, that it was really an entry-level price with tutorials and support to help you learn.

Sounded amazing.

What I've found is that there are only 14 tutorial videos. Only 2 of those videos are specifically about the 400, and the rest are all for the DDJ-RB. Which seems to be similar, but also seems to have buttons in different places, buttons missing, etc...

So, you can imagine that it's super frustrating for someone who's trying to learn, but the majority of the tutorials don't line up with the product I just purchased.

I'm not expecting to be hand fed. It sounds like the majority of the community has learned through hard work, perseverance, and YouTube. But, I just wanted to give you that feedback, Pioneer - you have the opportunity to do something amazing, but right now it's still very much lacking for us true newbies.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase of the DDJ-400!

Given that the DDJ-400 is a brand-new product, that's natural. Certainly, many of the other DDJ videos posted by Pioneer DJ and others will apply to learning the product, especially those of its big brother, the DDJ-1000.

Regarding the specifics of the DDJ-400, read the manual, watch any videos or reviews you can, then play. Honestly, the learning curve isn't terribly steep as the majority of the features are within rekordbox itself (and there's tons of videos for that).
