PLX-500 Vinyl recordings through rekordbox quite

so I've been ripping my vinyls into rekordbox directly from the PLX-500, and a issue I've ran into is that the recording of the track is quite and this means i have to turn the volume up or when mixing on cdi's i have to turn the trim up massively for it to be at the same volume level as the track im mixing out. How do i fix this, and it seems that the waveforms of my ripped vinyls within rekordbox seem half the size as other tracks i have previously downloaded.
